Ince: Busy in the market

Blackburn Rovers boss Paul Ince is hoping to make two more signings before the transfer window closes.

Ince has signed the likes of Paul Robinson and Danny Simpson since he replaced Mark Hughes at the Ewood Park helm earlier in the summer.

He has been linked with a bid for his former MK Dons captain Keith Andrews as Ince looks to build on a positive start to the season.

The ex-England international believes he has been at a disadvantage in the transfer market due to the timing of his appointment as Rovers manager.

However, Ince is expecting to add to his squad before next Monday's deadline, providing he can find the right players.

Very busy

"It's a very busy time and I'm looking to bring in another two, maybe three, players," said Ince on Sky Sports News.

"It's not easy, there are so many players at your disposal that it's hard to get the right one. I don't want to just throw money away.

"When you're in the Premiership you do get linked to so many players, but at the end of the day we will see what happens this week.

"The hardest thing at Blackburn is we have come into the job late as a manager and staff, and we are playing catch-up with our targets.

"Most clubs had 12 months or two years and it's been hard for us, and it's been a rush for us.

"I hope to get one or two in to freshen up the place and hopefully that will be enough for us."
